A Trip Out West
Last year we took Jackosn’s son, Jack and our daughter, June on a trip out West. No plans were made but we were able to find some spot to camp every night.
Charlottesville Wedding at The Wool Factory
The Wool Factory has quickly become one of our favorite Charlottesville wedding venues. It’s industrial, modern, and is the perfect place for an indoor ceremony — whether it’s raining, or not. Jules and Jordan had a blast on their wedding day.
Gaie Lea and Downtown Staunton Engagement Session
Evi and Craig’s sweet engagement session in one of our favorite small towns, Staunton, Virginia. We started off the shoot at their wedding venue, Gaie Lea. The lighting was gorgeous and they were so relaxed and easy from the start.
Keswick Vineyards Wedding
Here’s another look back at a wedding from last summer. Keswick Vineyards never disappoints. We love the ease and the beauty of the place. It was one of those perfect summer days and Meredith and Yale were so sweet and just really excited to be marrying each other.
UVA & Common House Wedding
There are so many things I loved about this wedding. Lauren’s dress and Tyler’s suit. The flowers, put together by their friend and officiant, John. The ceramic vases and candle stick holders, made by the bride. The ceremony on top of the parking garage of the architecture school at UVA, where Lauren and Tyler attended and met.
Our 3 Week Drive Through Mexico
For our honeymoon, we headed across to the Baja peninsula in Mexico, just south of California. We flew in to San Diego and paid cash to rent an old Honda Fit to make the trip. One week to drive to the bottom, one week there, and one week to drive back. That was our plan.
A Trip to New Orleans
I had the opportunity to visit a city I’ve always wanted to see. New Orleans was filled with everything you’d expect - jazz, warm Beignets, people dancing in the streets.
