Haley reached out to us about a month before their wedding. Jake got news that he was getting deployed in the summer and their initial vision for a big party had changed to a small gathering of family and friends at the Talbot County courthouse on the eastern shore of Maryland.
Every part of the day was greeted with hugs, tears and smiles. They walked around the streets of downtown Easton, holding hands and waving as townspeople congratulated them.
It felt like a movie.
Haley shared with us how happy she was that they ended up having a small wedding with family and close friends. It was just what they wanted and it couldn’t have gone better.
“What a weekend! Jake and I are heading home, back to reality, from our mini-moon in Pinehurst, NC. We were reflecting on the past several days and wanted to reach out and thank you again SO much for capturing our weekend - as I mentioned when we first chatted, we’ve never worked with professional photographers before. You were absolutely above and beyond what we hoped for, and it was a pleasure getting to know you over the course of the weekend. All of our guests were also raving about great you both were!”
