The setting was Wytheville, a small town in Southwest Virginia and the place where Grace grew up. Though not a small feat, they decided it would be meaningful to invite all their friends and family to celebrate with them on her family’s cattle farm. Grace and Adrian stood in the hot sun on top of the hill and said their vows. Guests waved grass fans and wiped away tears until they recessed down the aisle, showered with flower petals and applause. This was a true uniting of families.

The party to follow was like a sigh of relief that all the planning and hard work was worth it. Tables were filled with colorful summer flowers and fruit, mouth-watering steak from the farm itself was being grilled in the chef’s tent and DJ Ryan Clark was spinning vinyls for the cocktail hour. Mallory from All the Dainty Details really helped to pull the whole day off and we couldn’t have done it without her. The night wrapped up with a popcorn machine for some late night snacks and the good kind of sweaty dancing. It was the most memorable day.
